The Akanthios Wine Road alludes to the water principle in Aristotelian thought.
Wine serves as a cultural and historical bridge that spans generations, as we shall witness on a walking tour of Ierissos.
We will begin our adventure with a “light” stroll along the Ancient Akanthos route, then head to the Necropolis Museum. Finally, we will stop at a local vineyard for wine tasting at a breathtaking site overlooking the entire Akanthios Gulf and Mount Athos.
We will sample some of the best local wines paired with some of the best local specialties.
